“Checker Out Boyz” cow horse background

“Checker Out Boyz” is a little mare that I bought at the NCHA futurity sale. And she just is cute as she can be. One of the reasons I bought her was that she’s out of a mare called “Poosmal,” the daughter of “Peptoboonsmal” and “Hicapoo”; both are outstanding horses, themselves. In fact, her daddy won over 500 thousand dollars in prize money. That bottom side is so important for these horses. And the daddy was just awesome. Matt Gains won a lot of money on that horse. He was a good horse, but the mama is too on the bottom side. And she has all the looks in the world.

We got “Checker Out Boyz” in here on our training program, doing the things that we want out of a cow horse.

This little horse is gonna make somebody a great amateur horse… Western heritage. They can step her up. She won’t be too much horse for an amateur. Whoever buys her is going to have some fun times with her. And one thing’s for sure, everybody will look at her. She’s that pretty.
